What can I expect during a home euthanasia?
Our sincerest intent is to make these appointments go as peacefully as possible. Upon entering the home quietly, we can set up wherever you and your pet choose. After signing a waiver, we will administer a sedative to provide deep relaxation. When you and your pet are ready, the euthanasia solution will be given in a vein. Depending on your pet’s condition, the process of passing can take moments to minutes. We encourage family to sit with the pet, as it provides reassurance and love. When your pet has passed, we can take him/her with us to provide cremation services. At this time, our local Humane Society is our crematory of choice.
